Trade Show and Festival Sites

Here are some great web sites for helping you locate trade shows, seminars, festivals, and other local and national events. On other pages, I've also listed Calendar Sites as well as Party and Fun Sites. Enjoy!

America's 50 Best Music Fests — E! Online features the top 50 music festivals.

American Society of Association Executives — A great resource for any association.

Bvents.com — A trade show directory featuring over 40,000 trade shows and 15,000 venues worldwide.

Book Trade Shows — Features major book fairs and trade shows.

CultureFinder — This site allows you to locate cultural events (art, music, dance, and theater) in various cities around the United States. It features more than 250,000 events.

Educational Conferences — A listing of educational conferences.

Event Cafe — A new German site that features links for planning meetings and incentives, including venues, tourist boards, transportation, and other suppliers around the world.

EventSource.com — 877-492-9100. A great site for planners of meetings, conventions, and other events. Includes a database of 10,000 meeting places. Also information on 1,000 cities.


Excite Event Finder — This event finder searches the sites listed in this section.

ExpoWorld — Provides a search engine that provides links to meeting industry sites: airlines, rental car companies, etc.

Fairs Net — Provides a searchable calendar of country fairs.

Festival Finder — 1,500 music events only

Festivals.com — A sister site to Festival Finder. Send them information about your festival and they'll list it on Festivals.com. Register at the following URL: http://festivals.com/~finder/register.cfm.

M&C Online — The online site for Meetings & Conventions magazine. Includes a listing of hotel promotions and special meeting packages. Also links to major CVBs.

MeetingCity — A resource site for meeting and event planners.

Meetings Net — The site for meeting planners.

Renaissance Faire — Want to relive the Renaissance. This site provides listings of all the Renaissance revivals (Renfests) in the U.S.

Seminar Finder — Allows you to search for professional seminars, continuing education courses, and web training events.

Seminar Source — Proclaims itself as the largest search engine for information on meetings held for continuing professional education. Free listings are provided to meeting organizers. Also provides online registration and Internet broadcast for meetings.

Southern Festivals —Features the unique festivals of the American South.

Trade Show Central — A searchable database of trade shows worldwide, covering a wide range of fields.

Trade Show News Network — Helps locate industry-specific seminars and trade shows. They also sell a Trade Show Directory of 17,000 events for $799 or a US-only list for $499. To order, email Seng Weiland at sweiland@tsnn.com or call 262-754-6920.

Weekend Events — Entertainment events listed for major cities. You can submit listings to them.

What's Going On

Yahoo Local Events — Features local arts, sports, and recreation events as well as trade shows by metro area.
